Who we are

PawMetrics is a research and development project run by Insightful Health, in association with the University of Leeds. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refers to Insightful Health.

What data we collect and why

We collect two types of data through this website.

Survey responses

When you complete the breeder survey, your answers are recorded anonymously. We do not ask for your name or any information that could identify you as part of the survey itself. This data is used solely for research purposes to understand the experiences of UK dog breeders with reproductive testing. The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in conducting research that may benefit the dog breeding community.

Prize draw entries

If you choose to enter the prize draw at the end of the survey, we collect your email address. This is entirely optional and separate from your survey answers. Your email address will only be used to contact you if you win. It will not be linked to your survey responses, shared with any third party, or used for any other purpose. The legal basis for processing this data is your consent, which you give by choosing to enter the draw.

How long we keep your data

Survey responses are kept for the duration of the research project and for up to two years afterwards for academic reference purposes.

Prize draw email addresses are deleted within 30 days of the draw date once the winner has been notified.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because survey responses are anonymous we are not able to identify or retrieve individual survey answers. If you entered the prize draw and would like your email address removed before the draw date, please contact us at hello@pawmetrics.co.uk and we will delete it promptly.

This website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If we make any significant changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
